5. Click on the `Authorize` button to give access to BugBase to be able to enable the integration.
6. If everything went well, you will be redirected to the BugBase settings page and the Linear integration will be enabled.

#### Configuring the Linear Team, Status, Assignee & Auto-Create

> Before starting the configuration, ensure you have connected your Linear Account with your BugBase Account.

<figure><img src="/files/C4CNBhYxcY4mXHe0Qow0" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

1. Navigate to the integrations tab located in the settings page of your BugBase Program.
2. Click on the `Configure` button on the Linear Integration Card.
3. A popup will appear where you can:
   * Select the **Team** where your reports should be created as issues.
   * Choose the **Linear status** created issues should be set to (for example `Backlog` or `Todo`). Leave it blank to use your team's default.
   * Choose a **Default assignee** for created issues, or leave it as `Unassigned`.
   * Toggle **Auto-create issue from reports** on or off, and pick the **BugBase status** that should trigger it.
4. Click on `Save` and the Linear Integration will be configured.

### Auto-Create

When **Auto-create issue from reports** is enabled, a Linear issue is created automatically in your selected team based on the trigger status you choose:

* **New (on report submission)** — an issue is created as soon as a report is submitted to your program.
* **Triaged** — an issue is created once a report has been triaged, so only validated reports reach Linear.

Every issue — whether created automatically or manually — is opened with the **status** and **assignee** you configured. If you prefer to keep control, leave auto-create disabled and create issues manually from any report whenever you need to.

{% hint style="success" %}
:tada: Congratulations! You've successfully connected **Linear** with your **BugBase Program**
{% endhint %}
