Follow the steps below to create an Issue on Linear for a BugBase Report

  1. Navigate to the report which you want to create an issue for.

  2. Click on the Create Linear Issue button on the utility section on the right.

  3. The issue is created in your configured Linear team, pre-filled with the report details, which include:

    • Reporter Details

    • Bug Report Date

    • Bug CVSS Score

    • Category

    • Issue Description (Report Description)

    • Issue Summary (Report Title)

    • A link back to the report on BugBase

  4. To view the issue on Linear, click on the View Issue button on the utility section on the right.

  5. Clicking on View Issue will open up the issue on Linear.

If you have enabled Auto-create in your Linear configuration, an issue is created for you automatically β€” either when a report is submitted or once it's triaged, depending on the trigger status you chose β€” with your configured status and assignee already applied. No manual step required.
